Visitor & roll out of rarely seen warbird

Up at the pumps today was Bell 206B2 G-CHGL, which as it's home base is in Somerset I thought I would see more often transitting & visiting for fuel, but sadly not. Maybe it spends more time to the north of the zone as I think it spends some time based at Lulsgate.

Taken from the other side of the airfield with new EF500mm lens which with 2x Extender makes it a 1000mm f8! Still playing around with settings, but it's a neat piece of kit.

Also here today was newly polished & spruced up Westland Wasp G-BYCX, this will undergo a bit of a transformation in the next couple of weeks when it reverts back to full South African Navy markings.
