American registered, but Spanish operated Bell 407 N407DL arrived at Thruxton after hours last night & has gone into Aeromaritime for overhaul.There is a new link between the Spanish operator & Aeromaritime which means a few more of these machines will make the long north\south trip in the future. I say "new link" as there was a link back in the 1990's when the then Heliwork business took in refurbishment work from Helicoptres del Sureste on some Bell 412 & 212 fire-fighting machines.
Press announcement should take place next week.
Also arrived today at Edmondsons is Von Essen Aviation Ltd AS.355F-1 G-VONF for minor touch up work on new panels & skids.
