Another Spanish machine arrives......

.... with the other just about to depart.

Eurocopter AS355F1 EC-IDU [photo credit Josep Tomas] has arrived for a 12 year inspection, so will be here for quite a few weeks. It looks like the work on Bell 407 EC-IZB has been completed and it has done some flying today, I assume these were post maintenance check flights prior to it's trek back to Spain in due course.

AB206B3 G-HANY has been wheeled across the taxiway back into INAER for engineering completion. AS355F1 G-WDKR continues it's stay here.

Heard on radio today have been A109S G-MUMU from South Wales to p. site Haslemere. Also Bell 206B3 G-CHGL routed into Thruxton, R22 G-BWTH was on a solo navex from Booker, sadly the student pilot didn't have his radio volume turned up on departure, so lifted & departed effectively non-radio as he wasn't responding to the tower. Later in the day Bell 222 "Bladerunner 001" G-NOIR & H500 "Bladerunner 02" N500SY arrived at Edmondsons together, with the 222 acting as ferry for crew leaving the 500 for much needed repaint.
