Off patch a little....

... a forced landing on Sunday evening at Bullington Cross hit the headlines on Monday. Reports of a "two seat helicopter" crashing into a field around 20:00 - still trying to find out what type and which aircraft - I have reports of a Brantly, but an R22 is more likely I think.

Heard on radio on 16/06 was Gazelle YU-HET inbound to Falcon Helicopters at Bourne Park, I assume for maintenance. It's a long way from it's normal home of Darwen, Lancs.

UPDATE : I have since heard from a contact in the local constabulary that it was a "kit helicopter" - so I assume the crash at Bullington Cross was a Rotorway. So for all of my previous thinking and speculation it wasn't a Brantly or Robbo! I think it is likely to be G-JONG as it frequents Popham quite a bit & is based near Winchester.
