R44 G-LOCO is now in the Edmondson hangar awaiting new paint into black & silver scheme, strangley this was it's original scheme when it was first registered in UK as G-TEMM. G-LOCO waits along with newly delivered R22 G-OCOV which arrived yesterday which will apparently go into new burgundy\gold scheme. G-OCOV was flown in by a friend of mine from Wellesbourne.
Apart from those, the airfield is fairly quiet.
Although the rumour is that the restoration of the Spitfire is coming along nicely & it has been ground running of late. So the roar of a Merlin should be heard again soon at this WWII airfield.
